Only 4 missionaries in the entire
MTC?? WHAAT?
Yep, thats the truth! haha i dont think that has ever happened in the history of all mtcs. all the filipions and all the other missionaries left to their missionas, so there were only 2 districts left in the mtc until friday when the new in take ( batch) of missionaries come in. the senior batch is 8 elders and my district is only 4 missioanaries; 1 elder and 3 sisters, me and my 2 kasamas :) it felt sooo lonley! so technically there are 12 missionaries totall in the mtc right now but the 8 other elders were tracking

wow
what a week!! it went by so fast! I am loving the MTC! agian, all we eat is
rice rice rice haha but its a lot of fun. filipions but katchup on everything,
and only use spoons!

am trying to figure out a way to organize this email but im not sure how so ill
just jump around with the detials :)
me
and my 3 kasamas are STL - sister training leaders! yay! :) its not a big
resposibility becuase now that the other misssionaries left, we are the only 3
sisters in the mtc but more are coming tommorow ( Friday)
On tuesday we had time to take pictures with all the departing
missioaries, and oh my goodness! I can get use to it here haha i feel like a
celebrity being the only white sister here! I think I took more then 100
picutes with sooooo many filipions! one of the elders gave me a folded heart
made from a 100 peso bill, but before he gave it to me he asked for 1.00 in
exchange haha so i basically payed for his love ;P haha it was so funny! but
filipions are soooo giving! I ve been given so many things already! I even got
some "strechy pants" but they are so short on me because the filipion
girl was so tiny!
So
sacrement meetings are awesome! all the LAngage training missionaries meet
together( 25 M. before they all left) and all the filipions meet together!
anyway, I was asked to give a talk on the Blessings of the resserection half
way righ before they passed the sacrement, i guess i should get used to suprise
talks for when i am out in the filed haha but I felt like I did good. I love
how the assignmetn was "blessings" of the Resurrection! It is so true,
we are so blessed because of that!
we
have 2 new "investigators" (pretend) it is such a powerful experiace
to teach them! it is hard beacuse of the langauge barrrier but wow the spirit
is definatlly teaching these people! the spirit is so viatl! without the
spirit, missionary work wouldnt be possible!
Thanksgiving!!!
yay! I hope you all had an amazing thanks giving! it was weird cause i didnt
even remeber it was thanksgiving until later that day! for gym I wore my USA provo
today
we got to go the the Manila temple! wow it is
soooooo pretty! it is also really tiny! all the missionaries in the mtc went to
a session....hahah there are only 12 of us so it was possible! I am so graeful
for temples were we can be sealed with our familes for all time and eternity! I
loev thinking of my family and the families I will be able to teach here in the
philippines
The
filipions loooove christmas. they celbrate it starting in september and through
all the BER months sept. nov.dec! I miss seeing the decorations at home but its
fun to experaicnce diffrenct cultures of christmas! :)
The
lanaguge is going good, I just want to respond in spanish to everything which
is funny because I dont even really speak spanish! haha
I
love missionary work!! I thank heavenly father everyday for allowing me this
oppertunity to dedicate my whole self to his work and inviting others to come
unto Christ! I have learned the incredible power of prayer!! I invite each of
you to pray to our Heavnly father in all that you do, he will strenghthen you
adn bless you. He is waiting to pour out his blessings and love. He is our
father and wants to hear from his children :) There is great power in the
spirit. I have also learned without the spirit and without love missionary work
is not possible. Pray for the companionship of the spirit as well :)
Oh!
on wedneday we were able to go tracking at the temple and try and talk to
people in Tagalog....haha it was there that I realized I knew no Tagalog! but I
know it will come :)

love this work! I am happy and healthy! I am so grateful for the incredible
support and love that I feel from all my family and freinds! thank you for all
the prayers, you are all in my every prayer!
