Sister Mepania's birthday. This is a note that mom got from Sister Mepian's mom...MAR 7TH, 7:03AM

Hi Sister Rebecca! 

My heart is full of gratitude for the people who made my daughter's 21st birthday special. It's her birthday today. My daughter told me that she is so blessed and happy. Your daughter is so sweet. Here's my daughter's story. I'll translate after. 

"Sister Evans surprised me pagkagising na nakabungad ang mukha niya at naggreet. Nagtapon tapon ng balloons. hahaha! We started my birthday sa pagjog sa area near sa apartment. 2 rounds lang Hinihingal na ako eh. Then, she gave me birthday presents. Crafty na. She wants na maging crafty din siya eh. Kaya pala kagabi, nakakarinig ako sa likod ko ng nagtatape. hindi nalang ako tumingin para hindi ko siya mabuking. Nakarinig din ako ng pagihip sa lobo. Pagkatapos niya in an hour, pawis na pawis siya. Awee.. Sobrang cute niya lang."

Translation:
Sister Evans surprised me when I woke up with her face inches ayaw from mine and greeted me a happy birthday. She was throwing balloons all over. Hahaha. We started my birthday jogging in an area near our apartment. 2 rounds only as I was panting already. Then she gave me birthday presents. This time crafty. She wants to be crafty also. (Coz My daughter loves making arts and craft). No wonder last night, I heard from behind me there were noises like taping something. I just didn't look so she wouldn't see that i caught her, that i kinda know what she's doing. I also heard sounds like blowing of balloons. When she was done after one hour, she was sweating so much. Aww... She's so cute. 

Saying "sobrang cute niya lang" means more like this: she's such a darling. Filipinos have their way of changing the meaning of english words. 

Anyway, i just thought of sharing u my daughter's story. You have such a sweet little angel daughter...making my daughter happy even when she's away from us her family. 

She also told me from her previous email letters that Sister Evans is a fast learner. So she's doing advance training. Giving her tasks that are supposed to be done on a later training week. However, she told me that sometimes she would be so loaded with alot of info, my daughter could hear her take a deep breath and sigh. She said she sometimes feel guilty but because your daughter is such a "sponge", she trains her in advance. She also mentioned what she really likes about Sister Evans that she's so impressed is that she is very strong. She doesn't want anyone to see her weak like cry or something. That's what she literally told me. You've raised your daughter well Sister Rebecca. Pat on the back for us. I'm sure you are a proud mom, and dad too. . Pls tell that to Brother Evans. Again thank u for daughter's thoughtfulness.
