November 20, 2016 ONE YEAR!!!!!

1 Year!!!  She did it, we did it!!  Wow what an incredible year of growth, heart ache, discovering the atonement in a very personal way for all of us, of missing each other, family, friends, adjusting to the very foreign way of life, learning to love, to serve and to sacrifice for the wonderful people of the Philippines.  Becoming a trainer 2 times.  Learning so much about ourselves, trusting Priesthood leaders.  So much has been learned in this year.

She didn't want to burn a dress so she is burning her night shirt, which was
her 7th grade Bulldog shirt.

This is where she takes pictures of her letters to send home on P-day.

The drainage system in Tarlac City and maybe the whole of the country is non existent

This picture is funny, because the missionaries in the states would never be able to do this.  They could never ride a motorcycle and they have to wear helmets while riding their bicycles.  #missionsarefunnerinthephilippines.

Birthdays for the past 3 months.  September, October, November

What a fabulous sight!  Missionaries receive an SOE (Standard of Excellence) flag when they achieve 2 baptisms per companionship per transfer.  Many of the missionaries received more than one flag.  There are more missionaries on the stage than in the audience.  They are great servants!
