My dearest family and friends,
First of all i am sorry for not always being consistent with my emails haha its been busy the past couple weeks but i am here now to tell you how much I love and appreciate you all. Thank you for all the support and prayers, I really feel your prayers for me and all the missionaries everyday. This week has been good, I also have a hard time remembering what i do evey week because they are all squshed together haha. But Everyday i learn and grow and experaince things and tender mercys that strengthen my testimony of the truthfulnesss of the restored gospel and I am able to come closer to my heavenly father because of all thses experainces. Yesteraday, our bishiop called us 10 mins before sacrament meeting and asked if sister mepania and i would speak in church haha. Sister mepaina kinda felt the pressure of preparing a talk because she is a local, but I didn’t really stress about it because i can make mistakes and the people don’t care haha it was fun. Im pretty sure it didn’t really make since but it was good, I am greatful sister mepaina talked after me beacsue she always clears up what i said to the people we teach haha, she talked about the importance of establishing familes that will be strong for all eternity, it was really nice. This week there was a catholic fiesta which means every single house we went to we were feed meal after meal, holy cow i am still full from 2 days ago haha. The decorations were my favourite because they would cut banana leafs and design them super cool, and also with palm tree leafs. Also above all the streets there was banana leafs, i wish i could get a picture of it but its so cool! Defiantly something unique to the philppines! This week has been good in the work haha we are trying to find new investigators and we end up just finding less actives of like 20 years who forgot they were baptized to the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints haha. So we have been working a lot with less actives haha. We have to specifly ask how they were baptized to try and figure out if they are really members, its been intresting. As for the language i feel like i am imporoving, i feel pretty comfortable in teach the gosepel, but when it comes to conversations haha I just am a little lost puppy haha but no its good, i enjoy it, i think the pronouns in tagalong are a lot easier then English ahha. OH YEAh, guess what! I am done with my training, can you believe that? I am on my 4th month here in the mission so thats crazy!
Well family and friends, i love you al so much, I am so greatful for this gospel, it has blessed my life so much i cant even explain it. Things may be hard at times but i know i am a loved child of our heavenly father. I am so greatful for the atonement of Jesus Christ, it is not only for our sins but for when we need comfort and encouragement. I cant express enough my gratidue for all that ive been blessed with. I love you all. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Love sister Evans J
